Winners

Since Raymond and Janice were the only participants, you both win (what is the matter with the rest of you?). My favourites were:

"Eat your butter!"
and
"If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague." (Which reminds me of that Burroughs bit about, "As one judge said to the other-if you can't be just, be arbitrary."

I know I have Raymond's address, and I'm pretty sure I have Janice's as well (I'll let you know if I don't).

I'm a bit under the weather today, but hopefully I'll get some preserves into the post this week, or next.

I'm putting Danny in charge of painting the family motto sign so he'll have things to complain to his friends about when he's a teenager.

Thanks for all the laughs. I'm off to get my daily butter ration!

Thank You!

I'm sorry I didn't participate, the holidays really made it hard to check on the blogs I read. I want to throw one in even though there's no contest anymore. How about:

"I love[scratch it out] hope something eats you."

Hooray!
I'll welcome anything you send.

Thanks. Rio. I appreciate you coming to read when you can.

BTW, I rec'd the jar of jam/marmalade. Delish! It's so good I find myself just diving in with a spoon. It's almost all gone already. THANK YOU!

I'm so glad you like it. I thought it was pretty close in flavour to the bitter marmalade I prefer, but the jam-like appearance threw me a bit.

Think of all the calories you can forgo by eating jam without crackers or toast. At least that's what I tell myself when I attack the lime/mint jelly.

My jam arrived with perfect timing. Our dinner included biscuits, to which I slathered completely with your delicious jam. The addition of your homemade brittle to the package was a nice surprise. Thanks again.
