Jumpsuit Week-Day Two

Who knew a beige and white polyester jumpsuit would prove so difficult to photograph? I have beige walls and carpet inside the house, and the outdoor siding is also a lovely shade of beige! We found a spot of still green grass and did our best.
The funny thing is, I look okay in beige-just not against any of the backgrounds at home.

Outfit Particulars:
1970's polyester jumpsuit-Goodwill
Vintage Spanish made shoulderbag-Salvation Army
Vintage brooch (on zipper pull)-Goodwill
Vintage clip earrings-Hand-Me-Ups
Boots-K Mart
Fragrance-Vintage formulation Emeraude

I'll be back tomorrow with something a bit more colourful.
Stay groovy.

You really rock a jumpsuit Goody, you look fabulous. I love this jumpsuit; sometimes a bit of beige is just perfect. I love the gold accessories with it. Looking forward to Jumpsuit number 3...

I do get a kick out of just how fabulous beige can be sometimes, given that it is usually so awful & so dull. This is way cool! You look stunning. Love the brooch, too.

You may have outdone yourself, my good Goody :)

I have just done a massive catch up and read of your posts. Jumpsuits! Hmm, wore them when I was younger, and the short version seems to be all the rage with the young girls at the moment. I was loving the denim one until I read your garage attendant comparison. No I like it still, I had a light denim style one, think the fabric was called Chambray. How do you feel about your new President? Quite the surprise.

Putting a brooch on a zipper pull is a great idea. Beige does look good on you. (How can you look fab in both cobalt blue *and* beige? It shouldn't be possible.)

@Thrifty Parka
With such a plain print I thought a brooch might perk things up a bit.

I remember people wearing jumpsuits in the city as well...they just wore them differently. I can't quite put my finger on how it was different, but it was (maybe transformed by platform shoes and large hoop earrings?)

Thank you. I'm willing to endure bear attacks to keep the blog interesting ;)

Thank you. Beige gets a bad reputation, but I'm finding I can wear it easily as I age.

I think the wild print helps keep it from being boring.

Aw, you ain't seen nothing yet. The horrors of my wardrobe are limitless.

I loved chambray-a soft, wearable denim. I'll bet you looked rockin' in your jumpsuit.

It wasn't that much of a surprise to anyone paying attention. The pollsters missed it, but those of us in "Flyover" country saw it coming.

Now that my hair is going grey I seem to be able to wear a wider range of colours. Still can't manage pastels without looking embalmed though. I wish I could wear green as well as you do.

That's a fab jumpsuit, and I love the idea of the brooch at the zipper pull. I find it difficult to photograph any colour inside at this time of year ... xxx
