Swedish Meatballs

Disclaimer-I'm not a Swede. If you're looking for authentic Swedish meatballs, this is probably not it. That said, they did turn out pretty well.
I wasn't crazy about the sour cream/white sauce and I'd recommend searching for a better one if you're determined to make this dish. The meatballs however, were spectacular.
You Will Need:
1 lb. ground beef (I used chuck)
1 teaspoon dry white bread crumbs (for inside the meatballs)
4 tablespoons dry white breadcrumbs (for coating)
1 egg
1 teaspoon cardamom
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Mix everything except the 4 tablespoons of crumbs together in a bowl until well mixed. Roll into balls and then roll each in breadcrumbs to coat. Set aside.
Fry in a couple tablespoons of hot oil until well browned on all sides. Reduce heat and cook while you make a sauce. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in a large frying pan and simmer over low heat 10-15 minutes. Serve over hot noodles.
