This was a great dinner that was ready in the time it took to boil the noodles. It also made delicious leftovers.
You Will Need:
1 bag of bow tie pasta
1 bag frozen peas, cooked and drained
1 red onion, or 6 shallots, thinly sliced
1 large garlic clove, minced
3/4 stick of butter
salt and pepper
Grated Pecorino Romano cheese
Chopped parsley to garnish
While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large pan and cook the onions or shallots over medium heat until they soften. Toss in the garlic about halfway through. Add peas in the last minute just to heat through. Toss with hot pasta and top with cheese and parsley.
