Happy Hallowe'en

Thanksgiving dinner for Halloween? Why not?!
Danny wore the costume to go grocery shopping with me. Most people laughed. The employees were really entertained.
Danny dressed up our Christmas penguin so he could enjoy the holiday as well. It began snowing as we snapped these photos. Ah well, it had to happen eventually. So far, it isn't sticking to the ground.

Hope you've had fun (or quiet if you don't dig Halloween).

  1. I love the T-giving dinner as a Halloween costume!
    You look glamourously spooky as well.
    A blessed Samhain to all!

  2. We do appreciate the evidence that Danny managed a "birder's" costume for the great day! (And a cozy one at that, clever lad.)

    My tech guru/tutor arrived with his 5-year old daughter and 3-year-old son, at my invitation lest I have no little visitors this year. They were suitably impressed by the old bat wearing a gauzy hat and many beads, and they had a great time playing with their gifts (a furry black kitten toy and an enormous rubber toad that squeaks) and newly adopted grand-auntie while their dad did mysterious things with my computer. *When dad confessed he had no costume for the evening, I gave him an extra strand of plastic garlic bulbs and a pointy stake...

    Thank you. I'd send you some candy if I could.

    Everyone needs a cool adopted auntie. Mine was a neighbour that worked Downtown at a department store and kept me supplied with perfume samples. She also bought me a coffeemaker for my 8th Birthday ;) Trust me, those kids will remember your thoughtfulness forever.

  6. Another cracking Danny costume! Our Halloween was quiet, a vet visit and then homemade pumpkin pie with vegan ice cream and the original Halloween film.

    Thank you. Danny has some real imagination.

    @Ann
    Not from me!

    @Melanie
    I adore pumpkin pie, but no one else in the family will touch it. Your Halloween sounds nice, except of course for the trip to the vet. Hope your bunnies are all well.

  10. Those costumes made me chuckle when I saw them on Twitter. Danny could hide all sorts of things under that 'table'.

    He's even crazier...but don't tell him I said so ;)
    Of course it counts, even if the dogs hate you now!

    @Radostin
    I've owned that top at least 30 years and maybe wore it five times. Not the sort of thing you wear for the grocery run, I guess.

    @Mim
    Don't give him ideas!
