Looove this outfit! Beautiful jumpsuit!! Love the way you put that wonderful, eye-catching pin in the zipper pull!!
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait for the next jumpsuit!!
Happy thrifting ;)
Far out!
ReplyDeleteNow that is everything 70's, suburban, and stretch fabric should be!
(That sunburst brooch is absolutely perfect with it too!0
That blog header is bloody marvellous!
ReplyDeleteThat's one groovy jumpsuit and good call to photograph it outside. xxx
You really rock a jumpsuit Goody, you look fabulous. I love this jumpsuit; sometimes a bit of beige is just perfect. I love the gold accessories with it. Looking forward to Jumpsuit number 3...

I do get a kick out of just how fabulous beige can be sometimes, given that it is usually so awful & so dull. This is way cool! You look stunning. Love the brooch, too.
ReplyDeleteYou may have outdone yourself, my good Goody :)
ReplyDeleteI have just done a massive catch up and read of your posts. Jumpsuits! Hmm, wore them when I was younger, and the short version seems to be all the rage with the young girls at the moment. I was loving the denim one until I read your garage attendant comparison. No I like it still, I had a light denim style one, think the fabric was called Chambray. How do you feel about your new President? Quite the surprise.
ReplyDeletePutting a brooch on a zipper pull is a great idea. Beige does look good on you. (How can you look fab in both cobalt blue *and* beige? It shouldn't be possible.)

ReplyDeleteWith such a plain print I thought a brooch might perk things up a bit.
@Bibi
I remember people wearing jumpsuits in the city as well...they just wore them differently. I can't quite put my finger on how it was different, but it was (maybe transformed by platform shoes and large hoop earrings?)
@Vix
Thank you. I'm willing to endure bear attacks to keep the blog interesting ;)
@Veronica
Thank you. Beige gets a bad reputation, but I'm finding I can wear it easily as I age.
@Radostin
I think the wild print helps keep it from being boring.
@Cee
Aw, you ain't seen nothing yet. The horrors of my wardrobe are limitless.
@Sue
I loved chambray-a soft, wearable denim. I'll bet you looked rockin' in your jumpsuit.
It wasn't that much of a surprise to anyone paying attention. The pollsters missed it, but those of us in "Flyover" country saw it coming.
@Mim
Now that my hair is going grey I seem to be able to wear a wider range of colours. Still can't manage pastels without looking embalmed though. I wish I could wear green as well as you do.
That's a fab jumpsuit, and I love the idea of the brooch at the zipper pull. I find it difficult to photograph any colour inside at this time of year ... xxx
