Look, you can hold the jar sideways and it won't budge.According to the cookbook I used, it can be kept several weeks and if it develops mold you are supposed to pull the glaze from the jar, rinse it under water and stick it back in. I'm not sure how I feel about that, so I think I'll aim to use it in a timely manner before I need to make such traumatic decisions.
