Strawberry Sorbet


This one is a winner.


2 quarts fresh strawberries

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

Juice of a small lemon


Wash and hull berries. Puree in a blender until smooth. Boil sugar and water together for five minutes. Cool completely. Mix sugar syrup into the berries and stir in the lemon juice. Process in an ice cream maker until frozen. Transfer to a freezer container and let firm up for a few hours before serving.


That's it. Delicious.
