Danny's hairdresser cut my hair, as I've been doing it myself for the last decade, and didn't know anyone else. She took off a good six inches of hair, and it will be interesting to see how it takes a roller set. The layers should help disguise my thinning hair.

Congratulations on your coiffeur, Goody. It's a lovely length for your face! But what a brave woman you are! A friend of mine once hesitated for years before undergoing cataract surgery. Then, having done the deed at 90, she remarked the decision was not nearly so traumatic as having to change hairdressers...
I envy you that Napier tassel necklace. I, too, wear turtlenecks which call for tassels on chains.
@Beth Waltz
Thank you. I noticed I'd been wearing it up most of the time. The thing that sealed the deal was when I tried pulling it up in a braid atop my head. I always admired Dorothy Day, but not enough to look like her. It was time for an overhaul!
The haircut is very flattering. Springtime and a new hair cut, that should put a pep to your step. I'd like to wear yellow more often but, I never like the way it looks on me.I've tried, many yellow blouses have come in and gone right back out again. Works on you though.
@Janice
The Spring shearing ;)
Yellow is tricky-I can't wear mustard yellow without looking like I have jaundice. This one was borderline, but the white sweater helped deflect it. Sometimes if you can't wear a colour as a top, it can work as a skirt or trousers. I have a pair of bright yellow bell bottoms if you're game to try them.
Lovely! A good move, your new do looks very chic. And yes please, can we see you with your rollers in?
Love the colour of that jacket, it says Spring! xxx
Tres chic new hairdo, love the shorts and jacket look too.
@Curtise
Thank you. Of course you can see me with rollers in! First I need new roller as mine are far too large now.
@Jayne
Thank you. I thought it would be difficult to adjust, but so far I'm really pleased with how quickly it dries and styles.
