We ripped out the rest of the tomato plants today so I could get the turnips in. I sowed more peas and beets as well. Kind of sad, but this was really a fantastic year in the garden. The raised bed turned out to be exactly what we needed and next year, I'm hoping to install another. I can't believe we construct one sooner.
I have sage drying (oh man, do I ever have sage-two pots of it that get brought in every year), that i will have to deal with getting into jars later.
I'll say this much-gardening is much easier on a 55 degree day than it is in July.
