I didn't start out collecting them but in the process of acquiring other brooches...it kinda just happened. They're often a bargain too.
Have you ever worn this with your slinky 70s silver catsuit? Got a white satin big-sleeve blouse in your wardrobe? This deserves an occasion(al) outing!
Once upon a time, when the world was larger and my waist was smaller, I was allowed to acquire a white velvet evening coat (with a hood!) because even my tighter-than-a-Scotsman-German papa could see my winter tweed wouldn't fit my gown. What wouldn't I have said to also snag this broach for the white silk scarf I wore with it!
