Vintage Saturday

This wrap skirt is made from an antique sari that was cut into salvageable pieces and backed with new purple material. The old silk is a very dusty, cornflower blue that you can see at the very edge of the hem.

Happy Weekend.

I'm surprised you don't have any comments on your blog. You are so amazing. i came across your blog in my Google search for Cherry recipes. I cannot believe how GREAT ALL your recipes and photo displays are!

I'm going to TRY your recipes with great joy! I love blogs and noted you have a great sense of humor & are wonderfully talented. Very cool.

Thanks, Lisa-I appreciate the kind words.

I guess this isn't a comment heavy blog mainly because I don't do much to invite it-I don't seek links, join baking clubs, or do sponsored posts. Originally, I started it as an archive of recipes for my son, and just got carried away with it.

I certainly enjoy comments, but I guess I haven't done a very good job of promoting the blog. It gets a fair amount of traffic though, and honestly, sometimes I wish I knew how things turn out when people try them.

Thanks again for the comments, and welcome.
